Pack for Camping: Checklist
Packing for any sort of trip can be intimidating - you don’t want to pack too much or too little.
At Nova Camp, we provide ALMOST everything for you, below will give you our recommended packing list. Of course, camping in different terrains will require different equipment so make sure to plan accordingly.
Windbreaker/water resistant jacket
Shoes you are comfortable hiking in
Shoes that you can lounge around your campsite in (My go-to is Crocs)
Short/Long sleeve t-shirt (moisture wicking is recommended)
Shorts/Pants (moisture wicking is recommended)
Swimsuit (preference of course)
Towel (quick dry recommended)
Maybe even more socks (but seriously - don’t forget socks, wet feet suck!)
Games (soccer ball, badminton etc)
One key thing to remember, is not to pack too much. If you think you *might* need something, leave it at home.
When you are camping, especially backcountry, you are carrying your entire pack on your back - this includes your tent, sleeping bag, stove, pots and pans, food and your clothes. Luckily Nova Camp provides compact and light-weight gear so you can fill the rest of the pack with your personal items.
